This format invites you to decorate a pre-thrown mug. The curved surface adds an additional layer of design consideration and storytelling.

Participants will work on a wheel-thrown mug and learn how to carve, layer, and refine surface illustration using sgraffito and mishima techniques.

What’s included:
• Live demonstration and guided instruction
• One wheel-thrown mug to decorate
• Use of carving tools, underglazes, and wax resist
• One finished, glazed, kiln-fired mug
• All materials provided

No prior experience required. All skill levels welcome.
