This 4-week wheel-throwing course is designed for kids who already have some experience working with clay and are ready to continue developing their skills on the wheel.
Rather than a one-time program, these classes run in ongoing 4-week sessions, allowing students to build confidence through regular practice. Each session focuses on strengthening fundamentals, improving control, refining forms, and developing a better understanding of the ceramic process from clay to finished piece.
Students will continue practicing centering, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing while exploring new projects and techniques in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Recommended Age: 9+
Every child learns differently, so this is a guideline rather than a strict requirement. Because students work quite independently and classes run for 2.5 hours, participants should be comfortable following instruction, staying focused, and working independently for extended periods. If your child is younger and you think they'd be a great fit, we'd be happy to chat.
