This 3-hour workshop is a focused exploration of centering, consistency, and confidence on the wheel. You’ll explore a method of centering that emphasizes working with your body, not against it-ideal for those who may not have extensive upper body strength. Through repetition and guided practice, participants will build muscle memory, increase confidence, and unlock more fluidity in their throwing.
Whether you're returning to the wheel after a break or looking to sharpen your foundational skills, this workshop offers a grounding reset for your practice.

Instructor:
Susan Wintrop has been a raku potter and teacher for 35 years. When she learned this centering method, it transformed her relationship to the wheel. Her teaching is grounded in calm, clear instruction and a belief that pottery should be accessible to every body.
