Clay & Fibre Workshop Series

Form & Fibre is a hands-on workshop series exploring the relationship between clay and fibre. From handmade ceramic buttons to functional yarn bowls, we'll explore how these two crafts come together through texture, form, and a little creative experimentation.

Join us for one workshop or experience the full series. No pottery experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

All clay, materials, glazing, and firings are included in the pottery workshops.

Buttons & Brushstrokes

Sunday, November 8 at 2 PM
Duration: 2 hours
Instructor: Ashley

Create a small collection of handmade ceramic buttons using texture, carving, and simple forming techniques. Functional, decorative, or purely sculptural. Your call.

Coils & Clay | Yarn Bowl Workshop

Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22 at 2 PM
Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours each day
Instructors: Candice & Ashley

A two-day handbuilding workshop dedicated to making your very own ceramic yarn bowl.

On the first day, we'll explore coil-building techniques to create the form. On the second, we'll refine, smooth, and decorate your piece, adding the finishing touches that make it uniquely yours.

A functional piece made by hand, for all those projects made by hand.

Knit Nite

Sunday, November 29 at 2 PM
Duration: 4 hours

An afternoon for knitters, crocheters, and fibre enthusiasts to gather, work on their projects, and enjoy some good company.

Bring whatever you're working on, grab a warm beverage, and settle in for a few hours of making alongside fellow creatives.

All skill levels welcome.

Price: $10 + HST
Capacity: 30 participants
